7/11 News and Notes

Open Evaluation Period 10-14 Day Two Updates
Jim Boeheim is still out at the Peach Jam. Marcus Derrickson, Chris McCullough, Cheick Diallo, JaQuan, Newton, and Malachi Richardson are the notables.

Kaleb Joseph, Goodluck Okonoboh, and 2015 G Jalen Adams are scheduled to be watching this afternoon at the Adidas Invitational in Indiana.

Kaleb Joseph () lookin oh so smooth out there, gettin into paint at will w/ either the acrobatic finish or dump off to bigman

Goodluck Okonoboh () is an absolute workhorse and an in your face lockdown defender

Who plays harder than Goodluck Okonoboh ? ( ) I'll wait...

Goodluck Okonoboh with five blocks in the first half, by my count. Has a few buckets too.

Goodluck Okonoboh playing well. Protects the rim and runs the floor. In front of Crean, Pitino, Cooley, and a host of others

Jeremie Tyler is in that zone. Making Kaleb Joseph look like a NAIA kid.

Chris Silva of Roselle Catholic (NJ) really looks to contest shots, even when trailing on the break. Can really make an impact on D.

Derrick Jones just put Chris Silva--who has blocked quite a few shots--on a poster. Plus the foul.

6'8 F Tyler Lydon making his mark right now. Putting in major work on the boards and showing some decent touch on his jumper.

Malachi Richardson was tremendous. Efficient in approach and was aggressive with opportunity. Mixed up attack

Malachi Richardson says Arizona, UConn, Gtown, and Florida are all recent offers. Will visit Indiana, Syracuse and UConn soon

JaQuan Newton is the type of guy you just give him the ball and let him work. Kid is tough.

Isaiah Whitehead continues to pour it in at Elite 2. His team finishes with the scrimmage victory.…

2015 G Isaiah Briscoe says he has a visit scheduled to Florida in August

2015 center Sylvester Ogbonda comes into the game.. First possession he posts, catches, spins, finishes off the glass. Nice.

2014 SG/PG AJ Turner of Dorian's Pride has a smooth game with an excellent all around skill package. Versatility

Wow. Jamal Murray. Just did some Derrick Rose type stuff. Has coaches scratching their heads on that play. CIA Bounce up 49-48 7:15 left.

NCAA coach on Jamal Murray: "He's a no bullshit type" - yup. Old school.

There's no question that Derrick Jones is a major talent. High-level athlete. Next step for the 2015 wing is developing more of a jump shot.

Couldn't stay long but caught a glimpse of Jamal Murray whom told me is the best 2016 Canadian. Impressive, live bodied guard

Okonoboh killing it in the post right now. Getting to the foul line, too.

Okonoboh with what I believe to be his 10,000th block of the game so far

2015 G Isaiah Briscoe is an absolute force offensively at the Elite 2 camp. Strong, quick and talented.

Big following for Goodluck Okonoboh down in Ind. with coaches from Indiana, L'ville, Ohio St, Memphis, W.Va, Duke, Syracuse tracking him

Isaiah Briscoe says he will choose between Findlay Prep and Our Savior New American "probably within two weeks."

Two top 40 prospects, and , have been putting on a show this afternoon!

2015 PF Chris Silva with an athletic and-1 finish on the oop. He can be really good down the road.

Goodluck Okonoboh is playing head and shoulders better right now than he did this morning, and he had a triple-double this morning.

71-65 win over Indiana Elite in first game. Triple-double for Goodluck Okonoboh with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 blocks.

2015 F Check Diallo had a monster game of 20 and 11 as Team Scan beat Houston Hoops 56-51

Tyler Lydon is blocking a bunch of shots this game. Like the upside of the 2015 combo forward heading to New Hampton next year
